Hello,
allowing vCard export of the full directory to any user is indeed practical but it's also a security threat in case of a compromised account.
Maybe a role based restriction on the global directory and any additional LDAP synchronized address book (new feature in BM 3.5) would allow a more secure tuning for the administrator and in case of large directory like we have.
