After a long support ticket, we were told it is meant that the Thunderbird notifications do not work when the calendar tab is closed. 

While this is clear as day: a BUG, we are hereby making a kind feature request: please make notifications work without the extension tab open.

Search		TIP: it's more efficient to vote for an existing suggestion than to submit your own – the "post suggestion" button appears after search results (if you're logged in).
	Include suggestions that have been developped List most recent suggestions first
